This portable testing device, was designed for CeleroProVentus will be used by nurses in the emergency & trauma center of hospitals. This device can used for both pediatrics and adults. Most of the patients coming to the ER, in unresponsive state will require immediate catheterization to test the nature and level of toxicity in their body, before getting stabilized. Shortening the time of testing is very critical. Now, testing procedure includes several steps and takes up to 45 minutes to complete. This device enables the professional nurse to perform a real-time test with results in within 20 seconds.
Only in US, every day 60 people arriving at ER fail to receive immediate stabilization and slip into irreversible coma and death, due to long turnaround processing time. Interactive Light Media Installation at corner of Hotel Building. 3D Design/Visualization & DFM (Design for Manufacturing) of the Aluminum panels and custom made clusters LED light Emitters. Pattern optimization, Executed for MEDIARS LLC The artwork's intent is to bring awareness to the Earth's important element, water, because the presence of water is responsible for settlements of communities and other all living things. An expression of energy and natural beauty, the waterfall in Pasadena's Arroyo Seco, specifically the Switzer Waterfall, was the inspiration for this artwork. VeggiDome is designed to keep vegetables always fresh, on your table! Easy to serve, like a cookie jar lid for crisp vegetables. This lid allows for natural ethylene gas to escape from the veggies and keeps the humidity in. Place several clean, ready to eat vegetables inside. Your veggies create their own best atmosphere and drink from the air. Large enough to keep 3 or 4 days worth of veggies. This platter has special aqua-design rivulets that hold your vegetables above standing water.
In 2014, I started the design of this OLED Portable Lights for Tech Startup www.Alkilu.com
It's a OLED light (Organic LED) innovative, cutting edge technology, world first application in portable devices. We started 3 designs at same time: LeafLit, BookLit and and brought this one: TripLit to completion doing a successful Kickstarter. After 1600 hours, 28 design iterations and a dozen of prototypes, here the product straight from production run. Today, I just got it in my hands for the first time. It's always exciting, being able to touch and hold the result of your own creation. Something, that was first a glimpse in your head, then went on paper, then on computer in 3D and colors, engineered, detailed, reworked endlessly and finally.... It's amazingly bright and the quality of light is excellent. It bundles with PV Solar Power, re-charges on USB in less than 2 hours and delivers +24 hours of light. iHydrate a startup company in the water/ice dispenser business has developed a Standalone Interactive Water Kiosk for dispensing free: WIFI, Water and brief 30sec. In 2011 while working at ARUP, I assisted with 3D BIM modeling the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Engineering team in navigating the virtual model and identifying the areas of interest for housing the system hardware.
The Broad is a new contemporary art museum being built by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. The museum, which is designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, will open in fall 2015. The museum will be home to the nearly 2,000 works of art in The Broad Art Foundation and the Broads’ personal collections, which are among the most prominent holdings of postwar and contemporary art worldwide. With its innovative “veil-and-vault” concept, the 120,000-square-foot, $140-million building will feature two floors of gallery space to showcase The Broad’s comprehensive collections and will be the headquarters of The Broad Art Foundation’s worldwide lending library. The Broad is also building a 24,000 SqFt. public plaza adjacent to the museum to add another parcel of critical green space to Grand Avenue. One half reading light, one half bookmark. BookLit this ultra-thin, versatile and transparent reading accessory emits most of its light in one direction, giving the page the light it needs while making it easy on your eyes. With just a single charge from a USB cable, you can read for up to twenty straight hours (if you really cannot put it down).

Collaboration with ARUP (as an independent non bios entity) to document the activity of FCX (Freeport-McMoran) in the Baldwin Hills, Culver City. The scope is to digitally reconstruct the large area (frozen in time) using a combination of GIS (Geographic information system) 3D terrain. Google Earth High Resolution Satellite Photography and Panoramic Photos taken on specific key locations throughout a period of several years. Every year, new drilling spots are identified, and proposed wells are submitted to the City Committee for final approval.
The Process: 3D GIS data & photographic material is processed and aligned using 3points photo matching method. The proposed new drilling locations are illustrated with real size 3D models of PumpJacks "Nodding Donkeys" in the exact location and orientation they will be built. Context & History: The Inglewood Oil Field is located within Culver City and the unincorporated area of Los Angeles County known as Baldwin Hills. The current active Oil Field boundary is approximately 1,000 acres and is operated by Company FCX (Freeport-McMoran). Drilling began in the 1920s and the last comprehensive amendments to the City’s oil drilling regulations occurred in 2003. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, PXP and recently FCX obtained drilling rights at the Oil Field, and by 2004 renewed drilling of oil wells in the area. Natural light for natural settings. Because it uses OLED technology, the LeafLitTM disperses light more evenly than a propane or electric lantern, giving you greater night-time visibility without the painful glare. It’s also cool to the touch, so it’s safe to leave around small children. Light, compact, and with a battery life of over 20 hours, it makes a great companion for any camping trip or outdoor event. This project was executed in Rome, IT, and aims to increase knowledge of the materials, their manufacturing processes, the use and creation of goods and objects and recycling and / or disposal. In SMART TRASH, all waste materials have a "home", a name and a surname; old garbage bins no longer exist, but they become display elements of "first-second materials". For education to use knowledge of materials and the correct methods of waste contribution, to separate management of the different fractions, in order to promote recycling, since the materials are important to our daily lives and are doubly important for a designer.
Project submitted to GE Plastic World Student Competition in 1989
In a two-day event (June 21st to 23rd, 1989) in Antwerp, Belgium, 50 students from 9 different countries presented their entrIes to GE Plastic 1989 World Student DesIgn Competition before an international judging panel of experts design, plastIcs. marketing and product engineering. From a total of 40 concepts covering the three topical fields of "home office" "home fitness" and "home entertainment", the jury selected the followIng four to be entered lot the World Final to be held from October 20-23 at GE Plastics World Headquarters in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
